Spicy spinach with tomatoes and cream cheese
for 2 persons

Spinach convinces with a high content of magnesium. In combination with cream cheese and tomatoes results in a light summer dish.

For this recipe you need

200 g fresh spinach
Tomatoes and chili to taste
1 tbsp. ghee
a little ground cumin, coriander, cinnamon and cloves
100 g cream cheese
a little cream

Preparation

Clean fresh spinach, tomatoes and chili. Remove the stalks from the fresh spinach and chop it coarsely. Cut out the green stem from the tomato. Small tomatoes can be used whole, cut larger tomatoes in half or quarters accordingly. Core the chili pepper and cut it into thin strips.

Roast the chili strips well in ghee. As soon as the color changes, add the spinach and the tomato pieces. Simmer everything under moderate heat for a few minutes. Now add the cream cheese and at the very end, according to your own taste, the spices.

This recipe does not need salt, because usually the salt in the cream cheese is enough. However, you are welcome to add more salt.
